For security purposes, the passwords of empty PlayStation accounts that have been inactive for more than 1 month must be reset.
To start the process, you must first log into the associated email address. For security reasons, the email and PSN passwords are identical.
Next, go to playstation.com and select the "Forgot Password" option.
Following this request, a password reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
Click on the link received, enter the date of birth, and create a new password. The entire process takes about 1 minute.
The account is completely private to you, and you have full authority to change all information and security settings.
